A Way of Life
Parco Gallery, Tokyo
This was my first large scale show. With this show I produced my first wallpaper designs.

The rough idea was to transform the gallery space into what felt like a showroom for products, or a design retrospective. As you walk through the space the themes within the show would become clearer.

A lot of the themes in this show ere the same as "the Rock Machine" but with about 4 times as many works in the show. I also produced a wall made out of vacuum formed plastic, rugs, wallpaper, posters and a tent made out of printed fabric. The fabric began as 20 small paintings, which I scanned and made the pattern out of. Inside the tent was a TV playing a series of PSA animations where I animated the characters and elements from the small paintings. This was the first time I incorporated animation into my shows.
